“We Build People” Campaign
The YMCA “We Build People” community action project is a yearly campaign. This campaign is a volunteer driven fundraising program to provide the yearly fee assistance throughout the Desoto County and surrounding areas for needy kids, adults, and families to participate in life changing YMCA mission-based programs and services. Throughout 2008 we issued over $216,000 to over 2,200 children, families, and individuals in need. In 2009, it is our desire to reach even more by raising up to $51,000 during the WBP campaign.
